Dr. Joshua Olorunkiya

A deep passion for the country infrastructural development of Nigeria and a call by the government on of her citizens in various fields of endeavor to return and help build the Nation led to his return upon completion of his Doctorate degree overseas and a brief stay in Doha, Qatar. His years of research and partnership under the Supervision of one of the World Leading Authority in Post-Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction, Professor Suzanne Wilkinson as a Doctoral Student has led to the Partnership between the Esthoj Multi- Disciplinary Consulting Services and the University of Auckland Post-Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction Team. As one of the Nation’s Prides, Dr. Joshua has delivered presentations on different topics in his areas of specialties locally and international in countries like the United States, Brazil, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Nigeria. As an astute researcher, he is also a reviewer for some academic Journals.

In addition to his academic and numerous professional qualifications, Dr. Joshua served as an Assistant General Manager, Contracts Administration, Quantity Surveying and Planning with EGEC Qatar for Engineering Consultations in Doha, Qatar. During his tenure, he was responsible for the planning, scheduling, control and successful delivery of over $3 billion Qatari Riyals worth of Construction Projects in various locations in Doha, State of Qatar before his return to Nigeria in December, 2014.

His extensive experience cut across a wide variety of construction projects including: development of modern markets across different locations in Qatar, underground substation, interior finishes for $20million dollars 10-Halls Cinema at the Pearl, Doha, Residential Villas, Hotel, Qatar FIFA 2022 World Cup Parks, and Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation Administrative Building, Road and Bridge Infrastructures among others. Dr. Joshua primary areas of expertise include: Quantity Surveying, Project Planning and Scheduling, Project schedule and Cost Controls, Delay Analysis (Time Impact Analysis), Contracts Claims Preparation, Contract Claims Evaluation and Defense, Construction Contract Management, Cost Engineering and others.
